The Direct Impingement Barrels are available in three different lengths to allow for specific user configurations: 16.0”, 13.7”, and 10.5”.
Features
- Patented Integral Locator Pin – Used with a VKTR Low-Profile Gas Block, ensures consistent positioning, optimal gas flow, and significantly improves ease of installation.
- Precut for Cross Pin – Each barrel is pre-drilled for use with a VKTR Low-Profile Gas Block and its cross pin. Close tolerances keep installation simple with a precise fit every time.
- Barrel Cooling – Machined cooling flutes provide additional surface area for faster heat dissipation and enhance barrel rigidity while reducing overall weight.
The VKTR Hammer Forged Direct Impingement Barrels are available in three different lengths to allow for specific user configurations: 16.0”, 13.7”, and 10.5”. VKTR utilizes a 1:7 (1 turn every 7 inches) twist rate on our 5.56 NATO barrels. It will stabilize any of the lighter weight 5.56 projectiles, as well as newer heavier bullet profiles, permitting the greatest possible performance with both. Features a true 5.56 NATO chamber for optimal reliability with higher-pressure ammunition, and is equipped with M4 style feed ramps. Requires no break-in period.
